These terms cover your use of tidelinejobs.com, which is operated by TidelineJobs from Lakes Entrance, Victoria. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The same terms apply when you read our pages on a phone, open them from an advert or reach them through a link someone shared with you.
“We” and “us” mean TidelineJobs. “You” means anyone visiting the site or contacting us. An “employer” is the business that offers and pays for the work.
TidelineJobs is a recruitment service. We are not the employer, and using the site or messaging us does not create a job or an employment relationship between you and us.
The roles described on the site are home-based and come from outside employers. Availability changes over time, and a role may close or change before you are introduced.
Descriptions on the site give a general picture of the work. The exact duties, hours and expectations for a particular opening are explained by HR and confirmed by the employer, and they can differ a little from one employer to another.
Being introduced to an employer does not guarantee that you will be offered work. Each employer makes its own decision.
Applying involves contacting HR on WhatsApp, where we answer questions and explain the next steps. WhatsApp only sends a message once you tap send yourself. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email us at careers@tidelinejobs.com and we will help you there.
You are never asked to pay to apply, to buy credits or coins, to top up an account, to unlock work or to release wages. If anyone asks you for money in our name, stop and contact us straight away.
Pay, hours and conditions are set by the employer. Before you start, ask the employer for written confirmation of its legal name, the work involved, the rate, the expected hours and when you will be paid.
We try to keep the site, our adverts and our messages accurate and consistent. If you notice that an advert and the site say different things, tell us and we will correct whichever one is wrong.
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not misuse the site, try to break its security, copy it in bulk, or use it to send spam or harmful material.
Do not pretend to be someone else when you contact us, and do not use the site to collect information about other applicants. We may stop replying to anyone who behaves abusively towards our team.
The text, design and images on the site belong to TidelineJobs or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal use, but not republish them commercially.
The site relies on services run by others, such as WhatsApp and Cloudflare. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for how they operate.
We aim to keep the site online but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or pause parts of it at any time.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, or for decisions made by employers. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to supplying the service again.
Our pages may link to services we use, such as WhatsApp. We do not control those websites and we are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your information, so please read their own policies before you share anything with them.
If we spot an error on the site we will fix it as soon as we can. An obvious mistake does not bind us or you.
Please give us honest information, keep your own contact details current and check any offer carefully before you accept it.
You are responsible for keeping your phone and WhatsApp account secure, for any equipment and internet connection you use, and for meeting any tax obligations that come with income you earn.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as outages at service providers.
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Compliance page, are the whole agreement between you and us about using the site.
You can stop talking to us at any time by telling HR or emailing us. We may also stop handling an application if the information given is false or if a role is no longer available. Sections of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as the limits on liability, keep applying afterwards.
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and you and we agree to the courts of that state.
We send notices to the email or WhatsApp number you gave us. You can send notices to careers@tidelinejobs.com.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always appears on this page with its date. Questions go to careers@tidelinejobs.com.
